Lulukinha Atelier

A little bit of my history......

.... Since childhood I used to say that I wanted to be a pediatric doctor, and it was also in my childhood that I learned to love handicrafts.

​

Time passed.... and I became a Nurse with a Specialization in Pediatrics and the love of crafts was hidden in a piggy bank in my heart.

​

I dedicated myself to my profession with a lot of love and affection, caring makes me feel good....but after 15 years working in the same hospital, life took a turn and handicraft came out of the piggy bank, I got interested again and learned new techniques .

​

In 2014 I discovered the world of dolls, I fell in love, I was enchanted, I dared to make some, but it wasn't the time yet. In 2016, Ateliê Lulukinha was created, but it was still not prepared, many mistakes were made and the dream of the studio was postponed.

​

Only now in 2020, life has given me one more chance, to rediscover myself and realize that my first mission, I had already fulfilled, being a Nurse and dedicating myself to the care of others.  

​

But, I still have a mission to fulfill, yes....my talent in crafts.

And so, today I can say that I am starting to build a new path, a new mission, to transform feelings of love, care and affection into Personalized Cloth Dolls.

  Why Lulukinha?

​

Well, Lulukinha is the affectionate name I call my daughter Luiza, my best version, my favorite doll.
